Moutning NT Shares on Solaris, Irix and Other Unixen

James Hammond writes in with this query: "I would like to be able to mount my NT shared drives from Solaris or Irix like I can from Linux. In Linux, smbmount does the trick, fine. In Solaris I can get ftp like access to the shared drives using smbclient, but I would like to see the shared drives like another directory. Is this possible?" I'm sure it is, but the question is how? NFS is an expensive route to go on NT, but would be the obvious solution. Any other suggestions or additions?
