mask.of.sanity writes: A current vulnerability in Windows 7 exists that allows local users to side-step security controls and gain root access.

The low-severity NULL pointer dereference bug focused on NTFS and worked using a crafted USB volume.

Researchers uploaded a short proof of concept video on the exploit.
