YourAstrologer writes "Wired Science asks: Should scientists date people who believe in astrology? Apparently, the argument is quite complex. Astrology is sort of a flawed mental shortcut for understanding the world, but so is disregarding someone because of their spiritual beliefs. Women are inundated with astrological nonsense from fashion magazines, so it is normative for them to believe it even if they are otherwise highly logical. Smart people can believe convince themselves of silly things."

  • well i have (anonymously ) given my horoscope to four astrologers from different areas in Srilanka . and they said some key details about my life "correctly". of course that was not a prediction.that was up to the time i checked it.and some predictions also were correct. so if you do it right. you can have at least some rough idea.astrology must have been a good art. but faults in passing of knowledge to the next generation must have crippled it.
  • My wife has never seen so much as one single minute of a Star Wars movie. As a nerd (and degree holding scientist) this should be more viscerally objectionable to me than a belief in astrology. But my wife is hot. Priorities, people!
