Billgatus Masks for Halloween? 22

Bohemoth2 asks: "I was thinking that it would be cool to dress up as Billgatus of borg this halloween -I like to dress up as bad guys. Does anyone know if these masks are made? Also what kind of outfit does Mr. Bill wear when he's not in the office?" Me? I'd just be interested in that nifty headpiece he wears.

what kind of outfit does Mr. Bill wear when he's not in the office?

If you really want to know, you could check out this story [zdnet.com] about how Gates influences Korean fashion. Apparently, he is a "fashion god" over there. There's no accounting for tastes, eh?
    • That link, my friend, would be one of the best slashdot stories ever. And I say this as someone who is platform agnostic. Steve Jobs has a reality distortion field, sure. It's a mix of charisma, black turtleneck, and worn jeans. Bill has aquired one as well, even if it's just the result of having more money, and having Steve Balmer running morale duty. Microsoft insiders have an inflated image of him. Microsoft.com recently had a rather saucy offer: "See Bill Gates and Sting at the Windows XP launch! Click here!

      Bill and Sting. Indeed.

Maybe these guys [monstermakers.com] could help, though I'm not quite sure about the cost...

Heres a bill gates mask - its not billgatus, but hacks can be esaily added. http://www.funshop.com/billgates.html [funshop.com]

If I may hazard a question, isnt this a bit late to be thinking about Halloween masks/costumes...no express shipping can get it to you fast enough now. Personally, I like the idea of being billgatus of borg for Halloween, but I think the humor would be lost on kids, and if my Halloween costume aint cool (or at least not terribly UNcool), man youd think i shot my son through the heart with an arrow of pure embarassment, which is why my costume is the grim reaper this year. Its a classic (i hear hes been around for awhile) and its easy (c'mon, who DOESNT have a spare holocaust cloak?). My $.02

    • who DOESNT have a spare holocaust cloak?

Ever stop over at Miracle Max's? He said he gave his to this really big fellow - apparently he was on the brute squad.

  • In their last ever issue, CU Amiga Magazine [amigactive.com] gave away a free Bill Gates Halloween Mask. It looked kinda out of place because they printed it in the August issue if my memory serves me correctly, but I guess since it was their last ever issue, they didn't really have a choice.

Don't you mean HAIRPIECE? What? That's his real hair? Damn....
