Jason Fisher writes "Where can I obtain a list of non-profit organizations (NPO's) in the Open Source (and Linux, etc) world? My goal is to get them added to DonationDepot.com's charity listings, which would allow donations to be given directly through the Web (tax deductible, of course!)."

besides that we have the Electronic Frontier Foundation [eff.org], Free Software Foundation [gnu.org], Software in the Public Interest [spi-inc.org], Apache Software Foundation [apache.org], and i am sure a few more...

- select on the leftbar of your Slashdot Window "Submit Story".
- in the screen that opens then you go to the scrolldown fields under "topics and section". Select the right one (with "article") and go down one item to arrive at "Ask Slashdot".
